San Sebastian, November 21, 2023 — The recent AMI2030 workshop, organized by the NATURKLIMA Foundation, focused on sustainable materials to showcase innovative contributions from various stakeholders. CIDETEC participated and represented the sustainable bioplastic solutions from the UNLOCK project. 

The workshop, organized by the NATURKLIMA Foundation, brought together industry leaders, researchers, and experts at Naturklima facilities in San Sebastian, Spain. The event, in collaboration with EMIRI, focused on case studies highlighting the circularity aspect of materials research and innovation.

Elena Jubete, representing CIDETEC, participated in this event and gave a speech titled  "Greener pathways for surface treatments and composite materials." Her presentation, accompanied by slides featuring the UNLOCK project, explored innovative approaches and solutions within the field of sustainable materials. Also a roll up  on sustainable materials projects with the logo of UNLOCK was showcasted. Additionally, in the panel discussion, UNLOCK  activities on sustainable bioplastics were highlighted.
